Allied Blenders and Distillers (ABD) announced that its super-premium and luxury spirits subsidiary, ABD Maestro Pvt. Ltd. (ABDM), has partnered with Roust Corporation to introduce Russian Standard Vodka in India. This marks the first vodka in the ABD Maestro portfolio. Three variants are being launched: Russian Standard Original (₹2,400 for 750ml), Gold (₹2,650), and Platinum (₹5,300 for 700ml), with prices quoted for Maharashtra. Russian Standard, Russia's number one premium vodka, is currently sold in over 85 countries and is crafted using glacial water from Lake Ladoga and winter wheat from the Russian Steppes. The Indian vodka market was estimated at 14 million cases in 2024, growing at a high-teens annual rate, indicating strong demand potential. Distribution will leverage ABD's existing infrastructure across premium retail outlets, hotels, bars, and lounges.
