Prism Johnson Ltd has issued a notice to shareholders regarding the transfer of unclaimed dividend and relevant equity shares to the IEPF Authority. The unclaimed dividend relates to the interim dividend declared on July 30, 2019 for financial year 2019-20. Shareholders have until August 31, 2026 to claim their dividend, failing which both the unclaimed dividend and relevant equity shares will be transferred to IEPF Authority without further notice. For physical share holders, new share certificates will be issued and original certificates will be cancelled. Demat shares will be transferred via corporate action through depositories. Shareholders are required to ensure KYC compliance and provide updated bank details for electronic credit of dividend.
Shareholders who fail to claim their FY 2019-20 unclaimed dividend by August 31, 2026 will lose their dividend and equity shares to IEPF. After transfer, claims can only be made to IEPF Authority via Form IEPF-5, not the company.
