Priti International's board, on August 14, 2025, approved the unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025), with a clean (unqualified) limited review report from statutory auditor P Singhvi & Associates. Revenue from operations fell sharply to Rs. 713.85 lakhs from Rs. 2,026.59 lakhs in the same quarter last year — a drop of roughly 65% year-on-year. Profit after tax shrank to Rs. 25.80 lakhs (EPS Rs. 0.19) versus Rs. 148.75 lakhs (EPS Rs. 1.11) a year ago, a decline of about 83%. The main Wooden and Iron Handicraft segment saw revenue collapse from Rs. 2,016.55 lakhs to Rs. 626.05 lakhs, while a new Solar and Product segment contributed Rs. 83.93 lakhs. On a sequential basis (vs. Q4 FY25), revenue and PAT also dropped materially, indicating a weak start to the fiscal year.
For shareholders, this is a clearly negative print — both top line and bottom line have contracted sharply, mainly due to a steep slowdown in the core handicraft business. The absence of any exceptional items or auditor qualifications means the weakness is operational rather than one-off, and the stock is likely to come under pressure given the size of the decline.
