PTC India Limited, a power trading company, reported strong operational performance for FY2025-26 with total trading volume growing 12% to 92.80 billion units. Total comprehensive income stood at Rs 398.28 crores with trading margin up 11% to Rs 310.52 crores. The company declared a dividend of Rs 8.50 per share. Q4 saw particularly strong growth with volume up 24% and trading margin up 27% year-on-year. PTC operates over 7,500 MW of long-term and medium-term contracts with 58% in renewable energy including hydro. The company signed a strategic joint venture with NLC India Renewables to develop up to 2,000 MW of renewable energy projects across India.
Strong volume growth and margin expansion reflect PTC's dominant position in Indian power trading. The JV for renewable projects signals strategic expansion into clean energy development. PAT appears lower than FY24-25 due to one-time gain from PEL divestment last year, but underlying operations show solid improvement.
