PTC Industries' wholly-owned subsidiary Aerolloy Technologies has secured a development and supply order from US-based Blue Origin to manufacture large Nickel-based Superalloy investment castings for the BE-4 engines that power the first stage of Blue Origin's New Glenn heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle. The scope includes LOX (Liquid Oxygen) high-pressure and low-pressure housings and manifolds for the seven-engine BE-4 cluster. The order followed extensive technical, qualification, and international regulatory/compliance review, and is enabled by Aerolloy's recently commissioned large Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM) furnace. The order value was not disclosed, and the work positions Aerolloy among a very small group of global suppliers capable of producing superalloy castings for orbital-class propulsion systems.
This is a significant strategic milestone, establishing PTC/Aerolloy as a qualified supplier in the global space-launch supply chain and likely opening a long-term, export-oriented revenue stream in hard currency. The lack of disclosed order value limits near-term financial visibility, but the validation could support a re-rating of the stock on the back of its space-propulsion credentials.
