Pudumjee Paper Products maintained revenue flat at Rs. 807.88 crores (vs Rs. 809.08 crores last year) despite selling higher paper tonnage by 1,675 MT. The company lowered average net sales realization per MT to pass on cost savings to customers. EBITDA remained stable at 18% for both periods. The company completed a Rs. 110+ crore capex programme including a 15.4 MW solar power plant at Bhalwani near Solapur (operational from December 2025), which will meet 35% of annual power needs and reduce carbon emissions by about 27,000 MT. The company continues focusing on biodegradable specialty papers for sustainable packaging serving food, pharma, and hygiene sectors.
Stable revenue and EBITDA show operational resilience despite competitive pricing. The completed solar capex will reduce energy costs going forward. Flat revenue with higher volume suggests margin pressure but better cost management through self-generated solar power provides a positive long-term outlook.
