Quasar India Limited's Board approved the audited financial results for Q4 and full year ended 31st March 2025, along with the auditor's report. Full-year revenue grew to Rs. 4,213.35 lakhs from Rs. 3,645.74 lakhs, but net profit collapsed to just Rs. 2.45 lakhs from Rs. 165.85 lakhs the previous year. Q4 FY25 swung to a loss of Rs. 302.98 lakhs (vs Rs. 4.31 lakhs loss in Q4 FY24) even as quarterly revenue rose to Rs. 1,192.52 lakhs. The company raised Rs. 4,815.55 lakhs via a rights issue during the year, lifting other equity sharply from Rs. 259.91 lakhs to Rs. 5,113.08 lakhs. The Board also appointed M/s. Jay Pandya & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for FY25 and M/s. S P Patel & Co. as Internal Auditor for FY26; no dividend was recommended.
Despite revenue growth, a sharp drop in profitability and a Q4 loss are red flags for shareholders, while the large rights issue strengthens the balance sheet. Absence of dividend and continued weak earnings may weigh on the stock in the near term.
