ND Metal Industries, a Mumbai-based non-ferrous metals manufacturer, announced its Q1 FY26 unaudited results along with board decisions on 14th August 2025. Total income for the quarter stood at around Rs 62.37 lakhs, up sharply from Rs 19.09 lakhs in Q1 FY25, though revenue from operations remained negligible at Rs 6.91 lakhs. Total expenses fell to Rs 24.71 lakhs from Rs 63.14 lakhs a year ago, mainly due to lower employee and other costs. The auditor Suvarna & Katdare issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications. The board also approved the appointment of Ms. Tanya Ajay Kumar Jha as an Additional Director, whose name suggests a family connection to Managing Director Ajay Kumar Garg.
The numbers are very small-scale and show weak core operations, so the results are unlikely to move the stock meaningfully. However, the induction of a likely promoter-family member on the board is a governance event investors should watch.
