N D Metal Industries reported zero revenue from operations for the second quarter and first half of FY26, same as the year-ago periods, with only ₹5.06 lakhs of operating revenue recorded for the full FY25. Other income (₹20.02 lakh in Q2, ₹44.74 lakh for H1) is the sole source of total income, up modestly from ₹40.56 lakh a year ago. Total expenses rose to ₹41.37 lakh for H1 from ₹29.28 lakh, driven by higher employee costs (₹11.61L vs ₹9.28L) and other expenses (₹22.61L vs ₹12.87L), pushing Q2 into a loss of ₹1.66 lakh and cutting H1 profit to ₹3.37 lakh from ₹11.28 lakh (down ~70%). H1 operating cash flow turned sharply negative at ₹(102.86) lakh, draining cash balances to just ₹1.71 lakh from ₹104.56 lakh at March 2025. Statutory auditor Suvarna & Katdare issued an unmodified limited review report.
Zero operating revenue for two consecutive halves, a PAT decline of roughly 70% in H1, and a steep negative operating cash flow that nearly wiped out the company's cash reserves signal stress on the core business. Shareholders should view this as a caution flag despite the clean auditor report.
