BLS Infotech Ltd reported a net profit of Rs 2.81 lakhs for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025), reversing a loss of Rs 9.46 lakhs in the preceding quarter (Q4 FY25). However, the company continues to have zero income from operations, with total revenue of Rs 7 lakhs coming entirely from 'other income', up from Rs 1.50 lakhs in the same quarter last year. Total expenditure stood at Rs 3.20 lakhs versus Rs 0.40 lakhs a year ago. Reserves remain in the negative at Rs -303.25 lakhs, indicating accumulated losses have eroded shareholder equity. The statutory auditor (Arun Jain & Associates) issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications.
The turnaround to a small profit is encouraging, but the absence of any operating revenue and the negative reserves position remain red flags for shareholders. Stock price impact is likely to be muted given the very small absolute numbers.
