PVR INOX has opened a 10-screen Megaplex at the Sky City Mall in Borivali East, Mumbai, developed as a direct investment under the company's own 'Capex by PVR INOX' model in partnership with Oberoi Realty. The 43,500 sq ft property features 1,374 seats across formats including 2 Insignia lounges, 1 IMAX with Laser, 1 4DX, and 6 mainstream screens, all equipped with laser projection and Dolby 7.1 sound. With this launch, PVR INOX now operates 1,755 screens across 354 properties in 111 cities in India and Sri Lanka. The Borivali location strengthens the company's footprint in Mumbai, a key metro market, and reflects its strategy of building self-owned premium cinema assets.
