Pyramid Technoplast has started operations at its new packaging facility in Wada, Palghar district, Maharashtra, spread across about 10 acres of land. The unit will be built out in 3 phases over the next 3-4 years, with Phase 1 now underway. Phase 1 includes HDPE Drums (50L and 200L) with a capacity of 7,20,000 units (trials on, commercial supplies from end of May 2025), one IBC line with 1,50,000 units capacity (commercial supplies from end of June 2025), and Metal Drums with 3,36,000 units capacity (commercial supplies from July 2025). The company expects only about 30% capacity utilization in FY 2025-26. With this addition, Pyramid now operates 9 manufacturing units — 6 in Bharuch, 2 in Silvassa, and 1 in Wada.
