Q1 Results today: Coal India, Tata Power, BEL, Coforge, among 68 companies to announce earnings

Around 68 companies including Coal India, Tata Power, BEL, Coforge, Indus Towers, HUDCO, Tata Chemicals and Happiest Minds are scheduled to announce their Q1 earnings. Indian benchmarks snapped a five-session losing streak, with the Sensex surging 637 points to 76,696 and Nifty 50 climbing 197 points to 23,965 in early trade, adding nearly Rs 4 lakh crore to combined BSE market capitalisation of about Rs 479 lakh crore. Goldman Sachs expects the Nifty 50 to rebound to 26,500 by June 2027, turning more constructive on India amid improving macro backdrop, lower commodity prices, stable currency and resilient domestic growth.
