Capricorn Systems Global Solutions reported FY25 revenue of Rs. 100.81 lakhs, up about 21.5% from Rs. 82.97 lakhs in FY24. However, the net loss widened sharply to Rs. 91.08 lakhs versus Rs. 14.72 lakhs last year, mainly due to a steep jump in other expenses to Rs. 110.64 lakhs from Rs. 26.01 lakhs. Q4 net loss stood at Rs. 1.79 lakhs against a marginal profit of Rs. 0.17 lakhs in the year-ago quarter. Loss per share for the year was Rs. 2.28 and reserves turned more negative at Rs. (123.50) lakhs. The statutory auditor issued an un-modified opinion but specifically assessed going concern, noting a change in shareholders/management and that new management is evaluating business proposals to support continued operations. The Board also appointed a new Secretarial Auditor and Internal Auditors for FY26.
Despite top-line growth, sharply rising costs pushed the company deeper into losses and eroded shareholder equity, which is negative for shareholders. The auditor's explicit going-concern review and change in management signal operational stress but also potential turnaround plans being evaluated.
