Quadrant Future Tek reported Q4FY26 revenue of ₹566 million, up 70% sequentially driven by strong Specialty Cables performance. FY26 revenue stood at ₹1,530 million, marginally up 2% YoY. The company achieved a key milestone with RDSO approval to commence passenger trials for KAVACH 4.0 (train collision avoidance system), marking the final stage before commercial deployment. Specialty Cables EBITDA grew 94% QoQ to ₹52 million in Q4. However, full-year EBITDA turned negative at -₹340 million (vs ₹26 million profit in FY25), indicating significant margin pressure from operating costs and lower revenue in prior quarters. The company maintains a robust order book of ₹8,054 million in TCAS and ₹8,612 million overall, providing revenue visibility.
The KAVACH certification progress strengthens the company's strategic positioning in India's rail safety modernization, while the Specialty Cables turnaround is encouraging. However, persistent losses and negative EBITDA for FY26 remain a concern for near-term profitability despite strong order flow.
