Quest Capital Markets' board, at its meeting on 12 August 2025, approved the unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025). Total revenue from operations rose to about ₹216.80 lakhs from ₹143.62 lakhs in the same quarter last year, and profit for the period grew to about ₹153.63 lakhs (EPS ₹1.54) from ₹117.30 lakhs (EPS ₹1.17). Separately, the board accepted the resignation of CEO Mr. Arun Kumar Mukherjee, effective 12 August 2025, citing advanced age and health-related concerns, and appointed Ms. Tanuja Mantri as the new CEO for a two-year term starting 18 August 2025. Statutory auditor V. Singhi & Associates issued an unqualified limited review report on the results.
The CEO change is orderly and well-timed with the quarterly results, with a clean successor lined up and no governance red flags raised. The strong year-on-year growth in revenue and profit is mildly positive for shareholders, though the company's small scale and reliance on fair value gains on investments remain points to watch.
