The board approved unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025). On a standalone basis, the company swung to a profit of Rs. 5.24 crore from a Rs. 9.09 crore loss in the year-ago quarter, with revenue from operations at Rs. 1.99 crore. On a consolidated basis, profit was Rs. 4.50 crore versus a Rs. 26.96 crore loss last year, with revenue from operations rising slightly to Rs. 7.99 crore. The board appointed Ms. Tara Bahl (daughter of promoter and MD Ritu Kapur) as an Additional Non-Executive Non-Independent Director and Mr. Tushar Tulsiram Patil as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director for a 5-year term, both effective August 18, 2025, subject to shareholder approval at the 40th AGM. A revised notice for the 40th AGM was also approved. The results note ongoing plans for a Rs. 250 crore QIP fundraise, an NSE listing, and the recent Time Out India partnership.
A sharp swing from loss to profit in Q1 FY26, both standalone and consolidated, is a positive signal for shareholders. However, most of the profit came from 'other income' (Rs. 7.18 crore standalone) rather than core operations, and the appointment of the promoter's daughter as a director may raise governance questions with retail investors.
