Quint Digital's board approved un-audited financial results for Q3 and 9M FY26 (ended December 31, 2025). On a standalone basis, the company reported a small loss of Rs 48.7 lakh in Q3 (revenue Rs 1.92 crore) but a profit of Rs 5.56 crore for 9M FY26, largely helped by other income of Rs 13.67 crore. On a consolidated basis, profit jumped sharply to Rs 39.05 crore in Q3 and Rs 43.50 crore for 9M FY26, boosted by Rs 41.84 crore in exceptional gains tied to Quintype Technologies Inc. and Quintype Services India becoming subsidiaries (from joint ventures) effective October 1, 2025. The board also approved a Postal Ballot to seek shareholder approval for reclassifying authorised share capital (Rs 210 crore into equity and preference shares), adopting a new set of Articles of Association, and other items. A QIP of up to Rs 250 crore and a proposed NSE listing were noted as approved earlier. The company also flagged its plan to invest up to USD ~7.97 million in Lee Enterprises Inc.
Standalone operations remain weak with a quarterly loss, but consolidated earnings look strong on paper due to one-time consolidation gains from bringing Quintype entities fully into the group. The postal ballot items (new AoA, preference share capital) and pending QIP could lead to equity dilution, while the Lee Enterprises investment adds risk given the swing in fair value of equity investments seen in prior periods. Investors should watch the postal ballot outcome and the durability of consolidated earnings beyond exceptional items.
