RR Securities Ltd's board met on 27 May 2025 and approved the audited financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended 31 March 2025. Total income for FY25 jumped to Rs 29.66 lakh from Rs 16.43 lakh in FY24, an 81% rise. However, total expenses ballooned to Rs 21.95 lakh from Rs 5.76 lakh, causing profit before tax to dip to Rs 7.70 lakh (vs Rs 9.91 lakh) and net profit to fall to Rs 6.52 lakh (vs Rs 7.07 lakh). EPS slipped to Rs 0.22 from Rs 0.25. The board also appointed M/s Kamlesh M Shah & Co. as secretarial auditor for five years, decided not to appoint an internal auditor for FY26 citing low transaction volume, and authorised the Chairman to fix the AGM and record date. The statutory auditor issued an unqualified (clean) opinion on the results.
Revenue growth is encouraging, but the sharp rise in expenses – especially a Rs 15.46 lakh fair-value loss on investments – dragged profitability lower for shareholders. The clean audit opinion and orderly compliance filings are positives, but the very small scale of operations (total income under Rs 30 lakh) means results are unlikely to move the needle materially for the stock.
