RACL Geartech reported a weak Q4 FY25 with revenue declining 7.7% YoY to ₹106.03 crores and full-year revenue up just 1% to ₹427.29 crores. EBITDA margin slipped to 22% (from 24%) and full-year PBT fell sharply by 36% to ₹34.37 crores, mainly due to KTM's six-month production halt which cost the company roughly ₹73 crores in lost revenue. To strengthen the balance sheet, the firm raised ₹79.99 crores via a preferential allotment from marquee investors Malabar India Fund, White Oak group entities, and Dr. Aniruddha Malpani, with proceeds used to retire debt (long-term debt down from ₹105 cr to ₹85 cr). Management guides FY26 revenue of ₹500–525 crores (±5%) and reiterated a long-term vision of reaching ₹1,000 crores by FY29-30. Key projects — Project Titan and Venus (BMW, mass production from August 2026) and Project Crystal (a US passenger car OEM for steering systems) — remain on track.
The KTM recovery under Bajaj's ownership, fresh institutional capital, and lower interest costs are positives, but soft Q4 numbers, margin compression, and management's refusal to disclose order book or detailed capex breakup may limit near-term upside for shareholders.
