Railtel has secured a work order from South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), a Coal India subsidiary, valued at Rs. 11.95 crore inclusive of tax. The contract is for providing Managed Bandwidth Service through MPLS VPN Network on a rental (Opex) basis for a three-year period. The service will support live streaming and storage of CCTV camera footage at various SECL mines located in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The order is to be executed by 5 June 2028 and was received on 11 June 2025. The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and is not a related party transaction.
This is a routine order for Railtel and represents a small addition to its order book. Positive for the company's recurring revenue pipeline given the 3-year Opex model, but not material enough to drive a significant stock price move on its own.
