RailTel reported strong Q4 FY'26 results with operating revenue of INR 1,669 crores (up 83% Q-o-Q) and PAT of INR 142 crores (up 129% Q-o-Q). Full year FY'26 revenue stood at INR 3,551 crores with 22% growth, and PAT was INR 346 crores with 17% growth. The order book as of April 30, 2026 was INR 11,466 crores, up 34% from December 2025. The telecom segment (including data center) reported INR 449 crores revenue, with data center growing 59% YoY to INR 202 crores. Management guided for ~20% revenue growth in FY'27 and expects INR 3,000-3,500 crores of order book to convert to revenue. They also mentioned capex of INR 300 crores planned for the year, mostly in data centers.
Strong quarterly and annual performance beats expectations, with order book growth providing revenue visibility. The company's focus on data centers (3 MW current capacity, targeting 5 MW by next year) and recurring telecom revenue from video surveillance projects are positive signals. Railway orders now constitute only 21% of the order book, indicating diversification.
