Rainbow Childrens Medicare announced its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) results. Standalone revenue from operations grew to Rs 3,347.48 million from Rs 3,150.23 million a year ago (about 6% YoY), while profit after tax jumped to Rs 517.20 million from Rs 387.27 million (about 34% YoY), lifting EPS to Rs 5.09 from Rs 3.82. On a consolidated basis, revenue was Rs 3,529.29 million and PAT was Rs 538.05 million (EPS Rs 5.27). The Board also completed the acquisition of a 76% stake in Prashanthi Hospital (a 100-bed hospital in Warangal) for Rs 326 million, effective July 1, 2025. Additionally, 140,810 stock options were granted under ESOP 2025, and Dr. Pranathi Subrahmanyam Maddirala was designated as Senior Management Personnel. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified limited review report.
Strong profit growth (PAT up ~34% YoY) signals improving profitability and operational efficiency despite modest top-line growth, which is positive for shareholders. The acquisition of Prashanthi Hospital and ESOP grant point to ongoing expansion and talent alignment, though dilution from stock options is a minor watchpoint.
