Rainbow Childrens Medicare reported standalone revenue from operations of Rs 3,347.48 million for Q1 FY26, up about 6.3% from Rs 3,150.23 million in Q1 FY25. Standalone profit after tax rose sharply to Rs 517.20 million (vs Rs 387.27 million, up ~33.5%), with EPS at Rs 5.09 versus Rs 3.82. On a consolidated basis, revenue grew to Rs 3,529.29 million and PAT jumped to Rs 538.05 million (up ~35%), with consolidated EPS at Rs 5.27. Operating margins improved meaningfully, helped by steady costs in employee and doctor professional fees relative to revenue growth. Statutory auditor S.R. Batliboi & Associates LLP issued an unmodified (clean) limited review report on both sets of results.
Strong profit growth, well ahead of revenue growth, signals improving operating leverage and should be viewed positively by shareholders. The stock may see a positive reaction, though the modest top-line growth tempers the cheer somewhat.
