Rajasthan Tube Manufacturing Company reported its Q2 FY26 results showing revenue from operations of just Rs. 4.43 lakhs, down sharply from Rs. 2,448.40 lakhs in Q2 FY25 — a near-total collapse. The company disclosed that no production activities were carried out during the quarter ending 30 September 2025. For the half year, revenue fell to Rs. 1,349.40 lakhs from Rs. 3,085.42 lakhs in H1 FY25, and loss before tax widened to Rs. 109.29 lakhs (from Rs. 33.25 lakhs loss in H1 FY25). Total assets shrank to Rs. 846.32 lakhs from Rs. 1,937.27 lakhs as inventories were run down and short-term borrowings of Rs. 648.52 lakhs were fully repaid. Cash balance at end of period stood very low at Rs. 2.20 lakhs.
This is a deeply negative filing for shareholders — production has halted in Q2, revenue has virtually evaporated, and losses have tripled versus the prior year. With near-zero cash, no ongoing production, and eroding equity, the stock is likely to face significant pressure and concerns about the company's ability to continue as a going concern will intensify unless operations restart soon.
