Rajasthan Tube Manufacturing Company has submitted a revised integrated filing for Q1 FY26 after the original financial results were not signed by the Chairperson, Managing Director, or a Whole-time Director. The revised filing is now signed by Whole-time Director Pankaj Jain. Revenue dropped sharply to Rs 1,344.97 lakhs from Rs 2,448.40 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a decline of about 45%. Total expenses of Rs 1,454.96 lakhs exceeded total income, pushing the company into a loss before tax of Rs 109.18 lakhs against a small profit of Rs 8.52 lakhs a year earlier. After a token tax expense, the company reported a net loss and a negative EPS of Rs 0.24 versus Rs 0.19 positive in the prior year quarter. The limited review was carried out by UCC & Associates LLP, while the March 2025 quarter had been reviewed by a different firm, M/s Giriraj & Lohiya.
Sharply lower sales, a swing into loss, and the need to refile due to a missing director signature point to both operational weakness and governance lapses, which are negative signals for shareholders and likely to weigh on the stock.
