Rajasthan Tube Manufacturing Company reported near-zero revenue of just Rs. 4.43 lacs in Q2 FY26, compared to Rs. 2,448.40 lacs in the same quarter last year — a drop of over 99%. The company explicitly noted that no production activities were carried out during the quarter. Half-yearly revenue fell to Rs. 1,349.40 lacs from Rs. 3,085.42 lacs in H1 FY25. The company posted a loss after tax of Rs. 109.29 lacs for the half year, widening from Rs. 33.25 lacs loss in H1 FY25. On a positive note, short-term borrowings were fully repaid (down from Rs. 648.52 lacs to zero), and operating cash flow turned positive at Rs. 588.89 lacs, helped by inventory and receivables collection.
The sharp revenue collapse due to halted production is a serious red flag for shareholders — the company appears to have paused its core ERW steel tubes manufacturing. While debt has been cleared and cash flow is positive from working capital release, the lack of operations raises concerns about the business going forward. The stock may see negative sentiment unless production resumes soon.
