CRISIL Ratings has upgraded Rajesh Power Services Ltd's long-term rating from Crisil BBB+/Positive to Crisil A-/Stable, and its short-term rating from Crisil A2 to Crisil A2+. Total bank loan facilities rated have been enhanced from Rs. 193 Crore to Rs. 263 Crore, a Rs. 70 Crore (~36%) increase. The facilities are spread across ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and Union Bank of India, covering bank guarantees (Rs. 172 Crore) and cash credit limits (Rs. 91 Crore). The rating upgrade reflects CRISIL's improved assessment of the company's credit profile and ability to service debt on time.
Positive for shareholders — the upgrade signals stronger financial health, lower default risk, and likely cheaper future borrowings. The Rs. 70 Crore increase in sanctioned bank limits also gives the company more headroom to fund working capital and growth.
