Rajesh Power Services Ltd (RPSL), an EPC contractor in power transmission and distribution, has bagged new orders worth ₹278 crore (inclusive of taxes) from a mix of government and private clients. The first order is for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 400kV/33kV and 66kV/33kV Gas Insulated Substations (GIS) in Gujarat from a private entity, marking the company's first-ever entry into the 400 kV GIS domain. The second order is a turnkey contract from Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited (MGVCL) for converting 11kV HT overhead networks to underground cables in Mehmedabad, Anand, Petlad and Nadiad under the SI scheme. The MD, Mr. Kurang Panchal, called the wins a major milestone that strengthens the company's high-voltage and turnkey capabilities. The orders combine domestic, government-backed infrastructure work with a high-value private GIS project.
Positive for shareholders – the ₹278 Cr order win expands RPSL's order book, diversifies its client mix, and signals capability upgrade into the higher-margin 400 kV GIS segment, which could support revenue growth and improved project pipeline visibility in the coming quarters.
