Rajshree Polypack has added 600 Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) of new thermoforming capacity at its Unit III facility in Nani Daman, which is already operational from May 20, 2025. This takes the company's total thermoforming capacity from 11,520 MTPA to 12,120 MTPA, a roughly 5% increase. The existing facility was running at about 75% utilization, suggesting the new capacity is aimed at absorbing rising product demand. The investment amount has not been disclosed, but the company says it is being funded entirely through internal accruals.
This is a modest, low-risk brownfield expansion funded internally, so it is unlikely to stress the balance sheet. For shareholders, the move signals management's confidence in growing demand, though the 5% capacity bump is incremental and not transformational — near-term stock impact should be limited.
