Rajshree Sugars released monthly operational data for its three sugar factories (Theni, Mundiyampakkam, and Gingee) for March 2026. Combined cane crushing across all units reached 2,02,306 MTs in March 2026. Season-to-date (October 2025 to March 2026), total cane crushed was 5,66,886 MTs, up 9.2% from the previous season's 5,38,396 MTs. Total sugar production for the season was 50,206 MTs, representing a 19.1% increase compared to 42,136 MTs in the same period last year. Sugar sales for the season stood at 47,335 MTs, up 21.9% from 38,938 MTs previously. However, Unit I (Theni) showed declines — cane crushed fell 15.2% and sugar production dropped 22.3% for the season.
Mixed operational performance — while two units improved significantly, Unit I's decline dragged overall results. Higher sugar production and sales volumes are positive for revenue visibility, but investors should monitor Unit I's underperformance and its impact on full-season targets.
