Rajshree Sugars disclosed monthly operational data for its three sugar factories (Theni, Mundiyampakkam, and Gingee). April 2026 shows cane crushing of 47,644 MT versus 64,579 MT in April 2025 (a 26% decline), and sugar production of 4,118 MT versus 5,216 MT (a 21% decline). However, sugar sales jumped to 11,625 MT from 8,110 MT (a 43% increase), suggesting strong off-take. For the full season (October to April), total cane crushed across all units reached 6,88,382 MT versus 6,73,923 MT year-on-year, and cumulative sugar production was 61,744 MT versus 59,864 MT, both showing modest improvement. Unit II (Mundiyampakkam) showed particularly strong performance with season crushing up 27% and production up 40% versus prior year.
April monthly volumes declined versus last year, likely reflecting normal crushing season wind-down. However, strong sugar sales and improved full-season production indicate healthy demand. The stock may see neutral reaction as operational volumes, not financial results, were reported.
