Rajshree Sugars has reported December 2025 operational data for its three sugar units, showing a strong start to the 2025-26 sugar season. At Unit I (Theni), cane crushing rose sharply to 73,572 MTs in December 2025 compared to just 12,925 MTs in December 2024, with sugar production increasing to 5,829 MTs from 931 MTs. At Unit II (Mundiyampakkam), cane crushed nearly doubled to 56,903 MTs versus 23,338 MTs last year, and sugar production rose to 4,458 MTs from 1,680 MTs. Unit III (Semmedu) appears to be in early-stage operations with 6,383 MTs of cane crushed and 543 MTs of sugar produced. Cogeneration power export to the grid was strong at 56.04 lakh units from Unit I and 44.24 lakh units from Unit II.
The significantly higher cane crushing and sugar production volumes across both established units compared to December 2024 suggest an early and robust crushing season, which is positive for revenue and profitability in the coming quarters. Cogeneration exports also remain healthy, providing a secondary income stream.
