Ram Ratna Wires has approved a capital expenditure of around Rs. 86 crore to expand capacity at its existing manufacturing units in Silvassa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. The expansion will add 3,600 MT per annum to the existing capacity of about 45,500 MT per annum, which is currently running at around 80% utilization. The project, including infrastructure development and process enhancement, is targeted to be completed within 12 months, i.e., by March 2027. The investment will be funded through a mix of internal accruals and debt. The company stated that the expansion is aimed at meeting additional demand and improving manufacturing processes.
The capacity addition represents roughly 8% growth over existing capacity and signals confidence in rising demand. For shareholders, this is a moderate growth investment funded partly by debt, which could slightly pressure near-term debt levels but supports future revenue potential once commissioned by March 2027.
