Ram Ratna Wires, a leading Indian manufacturer of enamelled copper winding wires, shared its investor presentation with exchanges. For 9M FY26, consolidated revenue rose 25.9% to ₹3,423.8 crore, EBITDA jumped 53.6% to ₹170.4 crore, and PAT grew 34.6% to ₹69.4 crore, with EBITDA margin expanding to 5.0% (from 4.3% in FY25). The company is aggressively expanding copper tube capacity from 600 MTPM to 3,000 MTPM at Bhiwadi, planning copper foils by FY28-29, and doubling busbar capacity. Recent strategic moves include NCLT-approved merger of Global Copper Pvt Ltd (May 2025), 60% stake acquisition in wind-energy player Tefabo Product Pvt Ltd (with an additional 4% approved), and PLI scheme approval for white goods with ₹253 crore committed investment. ROCE stands at 21.5% YTD Dec 25, down from 26.9% in FY25 due to capex.
Strong growth momentum with margin expansion and a clear capacity-led growth roadmap in copper tubes, foils, and busbars is positive for long-term investors. However, borrowings have surged from ₹227 crore in FY25 to ₹685 crore YTD Dec 25 to fund expansions, which could pressure near-term returns on capital.
