Rama Steel Tubes reported Q1 FY26 standalone revenue of ₹24,266.56 lakhs (up ~53% YoY from ₹15,829.63 lakhs) and standalone PAT of ₹644.56 lakhs (up ~150% YoY from ₹258.35 lakhs). Consolidated revenue stood at ₹26,813.45 lakhs with consolidated PAT of ₹495.64 lakhs, which was lower sequentially from Q4 FY25. The Board appointed Mr. Hari Shankar Singh (internal hire, ex-Purchase Manager at Vishal Pipe) as Additional Executive Director and re-appointed promoter Mr. Naresh Kumar Bansal as Managing Director for 5 years (Oct 2025 to Sep 2030). Company Secretary Mr. Manish Kumar resigned and was replaced by Mr. Vikas Sharma. The auditor issued a qualified conclusion on consolidated results because step-down foreign subsidiary RST Industries Limited (Nigeria) financials were neither audited nor reviewed.
Strong YoY earnings growth on the standalone side is positive, but consolidated PAT decline and the qualified auditor report on the Nigeria subsidiary raise some governance concerns. Shareholders will see further equity dilution from the 15.76 crore shares allotted in June 2025 and the 40.32 lakh shares to Mr. Vinit Bharat Shah, which also brought Bigwin Buildsys Coated as a new associate company.
