Rama Steel Tubes Limited held its Board Meeting on May 30, 2026, approving audited financial results for Q4 and FY26. Standalone revenue grew 13.6% YoY to ₹9,543.34 Lakhs with PBT of ₹1,942.49 Lakhs (up 1.6%). Consolidated revenue rose 7.3% to ₹11,241.19 Lakhs but PBT declined 39.5% to ₹1,744.55 Lakhs due to higher finance costs and trading segment losses. The company approved striking off Rama Defence Private Limited, a dormant wholly-owned subsidiary with nil revenue and net worth of ₹18,000. The company's stake in associate Bigwin Buildsys Coated Private Limited was diluted from 24.80% to 9.32% following a preferential issue. Registered and corporate offices are being relocated within Delhi and to Noida respectively.
The financial results show mixed performance with revenue growth but declining profitability on consolidated basis. The subsidiary strike-off and associate stake dilution are administrative/minor in nature and unlikely to materially impact the stock. The income tax assessment dispute (proposed demand of ₹71.96 crores vs returned income of ₹22.48 crores) remains a pending risk factor.
