Ramkrishna Forgings has commenced commercial production of a new 8000 Ton Hot Forging Press Line at its Plant V in Baliguma, Jharkhand, effective March 06, 2026. This adds 40,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) of forging capacity, taking the company's total forging capacity (including Aluminium Forging) to 3,11,400 TPA from the earlier 2,68,400 TPA. The company invested Rs. 80 Crore for this expansion, funded through a mix of debt and internal accruals. Existing capacity utilization stood at 73.20% as of December 31, 2025, indicating headroom to absorb the new capacity.
Positive long-term growth signal — capacity rises by nearly 15%, positioning the company for higher revenues as demand picks up. However, near-term earnings may see pressure from added depreciation and interest costs tied to the Rs. 80 Crore investment.
