Rander Corporation has filed its 32nd Annual Report for FY24-25. Total income fell sharply to Rs. 140.79 lakh from Rs. 398.86 lakh in the previous year, a drop of nearly 65%. The company slipped into a loss after tax of Rs. 54.25 lakh, compared to a profit of Rs. 185.51 lakh last year. EPS turned negative at Rs. -0.44 versus Rs. 1.50 earlier. The loss was largely driven by a one-time write-off of Rs. 62.94 lakh related to an unpaid income tax liability from a prior year. No dividend has been recommended. The 32nd AGM is scheduled for September 30, 2025. Management plans to focus on the NBFC business and monetise real estate assets.
Sharp revenue decline and a swing to loss-making operations are negative for shareholders, though shareholder funds remained broadly stable at Rs. 2,286.76 lakh and cash balances rose to Rs. 35.69 lakh. No dividend this year may disappoint income-focused investors, while the shift toward NBFC could reshape future earnings.
