Rapicut Carbides reported Q2 FY26 revenue from operations of ₹1,581.84 lakhs, up about 77% from ₹894.83 lakhs in Q2 FY25, while half-year revenue rose 32% YoY to ₹2,619.55 lakhs. The company swung back to a Q2 profit of ₹124.97 lakhs from a loss of ₹47.39 lakhs a year ago, recovering from a Q1 FY26 loss of ₹141.06 lakhs. Despite the Q2 turnaround, the half-year remains marginally in the red at a loss of ₹15.75 lakhs, though this is sharply narrower than the ₹104.82 lakhs loss in H1 FY25. Q2 EPS came in at ₹2.33 versus a loss per share of ₹0.88 in the year-ago quarter. The statutory auditor (K C Mehta & Co LLP) issued a clean, unmodified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Strong sequential and yearly recovery with revenue growth of over 75% in Q2 and a return to profitability suggests improving demand and operational performance, which is positive for the stock. However, the half-year is still marginally loss-making, so investors should watch for sustained profitability in the coming quarters.
