RattanIndia Enterprises reported consolidated total revenue of Rs. 75,305.14 million for FY26, up 9.7% from Rs. 68,663.46 million in FY25. However, the company swung to a consolidated net loss of Rs. 1,663.47 million compared to a profit of Rs. 807.15 million in the prior year. The loss was primarily driven by an unrealized fair value loss of Rs. 1,723.62 million on investments in RattanIndia Power Limited (RPL), which was reclassified as an associate from March 25, 2026. Operating cash flow turned negative at Rs. 555.15 million, down from positive Rs. 3,064.07 million in FY25. Borrowings increased to Rs. 10,634.36 million from Rs. 8,821.62 million. The auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion with no qualifications.
The stock may face pressure due to the significant swing from profit to loss, negative operating cash flows, and increased debt levels, despite modest revenue growth. The large unrealized loss on investments creates uncertainty around valuation of the investment portfolio.
