Ravindra Energy's associate entity Energy in Motion Limited (EIM) has started commercial operations at India's Largest Battery Swapping and Charging Station for Heavy Vehicles at the Nhava Sheva Freeport Container Terminal. The automated station has a 3 MW power capacity and can serve over 160 heavy EVs per day. More than 130 EIM-Foton electric vehicles are already operational at the port using this facility. EIM has partnered with NSFT (a joint venture of CMA Terminal Holdings France and J M Baxi group) with plans to electrify their entire vehicle fleet by end of FY 2026-27.
Positive development showing expansion in EV infrastructure and sustainable logistics. The partnership with a major port terminal could lead to steady EV deployment, though no specific revenue or order values were disclosed in this announcement.
