Ravindra Energy Limited held its 45th AGM on September 27, 2025 via video conferencing, attended by 74 members, with all auditor reports free of qualifications. Chairperson Dr. Vidya Murkumbi shared that the company has tripled its operational renewable energy capacity to 158 MWp from 50 MW a year ago, with an 80-90 MW project due by March 2026, a 250 MW project in the next year, and a long-term goal of a 1 GW operating portfolio by March 2028 and 500 MW by March 2027. The company also detailed its EV truck business through associate Energy In Motion, which has sold around 125 vehicles and is setting up a Pune assembly plant targeted to start by June next year. Shareholders approved a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) of up to Rs. 500 Crores to fund renewable energy and EV expansion, related party transactions totalling Rs. 130 Crores with promoter-related entities and directors, and upward revisions in remuneration for the Executive Chairperson and CEO. The FY25 audited financial statements were adopted, and two directors (Mr. Narendra Murkumbi and Mr. Sidram Kaluti) were re-appointed by rotation.
The Rs. 500 Crore QIP clearance is a major positive as it funds aggressive capacity expansion and EV entry, but shareholders should watch for potential equity dilution. Tripling of renewable capacity and clear growth targets to 1 GW by FY28 are strong forward-looking signals, though execution and capital-raising timing remain key risks for the stock.
