Ravindra Energy Limited has disclosed that its promoter entity, Khandepar Investments Private Limited, sold 19,61,822 equity shares (about 1.10% of paid-up capital) on the stock exchanges between March 27 and March 30, 2026. The total value of the sale was approximately Rs. 24.47 crore at an average price of around Rs. 124.74 per share. After this sale, the promoter's holding in the company has come down from 34.64% (6,18,70,666 shares) to 33.54% (5,99,08,844 shares). The disclosure has been made under SEBI's Insider Trading Regulations as a continual disclosure by the promoter.
This is a promoter offloading shares in the open market, which is generally viewed negatively by retail investors as it may signal reduced promoter confidence or a need for liquidity. However, the reduction in holding is modest (about 1.1 percentage points), and the promoter continues to hold a substantial 33.54% stake. Shareholders should watch for any further promoter sales in the coming weeks.
