Raymond Lifestyle reported a sharp decline in Q4 FY25 performance with total income down 9% YoY at ₹1,580 Cr, EBITDA crashing 66% to ₹99 Cr (margin 6.3% vs 16.7%), and a loss before tax of ₹45 Cr. Full year FY25 was also weak with total income at ₹6,360 Cr (down 5%), EBITDA at ₹651 Cr (down 40%, margin 10.2% vs 16.3%), and net profit post-exceptional items collapsing to ₹38 Cr from ₹480 Cr. Management attributed the downturn to weak consumer demand, high inflation, a ransomware attack that disrupted operations and supply chains, and upfront investments in retail expansion. Despite the results, the company added 170 new stores, taking the total to 1,688, and maintained a net cash position of ₹90 Cr. Segment-wise, Branded Textiles and Branded Apparel saw significant margin compression, while Garmenting and High Value Cotton Shirting showed mixed trends.
This is a clearly negative filing for shareholders — across-the-board declines in revenue, margins, and profitability with no segment spared. The ransomware incident adds operational risk concerns on top of already weak discretionary spending. The stock is likely to face selling pressure, though the net cash position and continued retail expansion may provide some support.
