Raymond Limited has announced a change in its Statutory Auditors. M/s Chaturvedi & Shah LLP, who were appointed in December 2025 to fill a casual vacancy caused by the resignation of the previous auditor, will complete their term at the ensuing 101st Annual General Meeting. The Board has now approved and recommended the appointment of M/s Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants LLP (PwC) as the new Statutory Auditors for a period of five consecutive years, subject to shareholder approval. PwC is a well-established chartered accountancy firm with over 125 assurance partners and 17 branch offices across India.
This change in auditors follows a mid-term resignation of the previous auditor, which may indicate underlying concerns or a strategic shift in audit arrangements. The appointment of a Big Four firm like PwC could be viewed positively for governance standards, but the pattern of auditor changes warrants attention from investors.
