RBI Deputy Guv pushes for meaningful, fair grievance redressal

RBI Deputy Governor Swaminathan called on Internal Ombudsmen of banks, NBFCs, credit information companies and other regulated entities to identify recurring grievance issues, conduct root cause analysis and push for remedial measures. He was speaking at the annual conference of Internal Ombudsmen, attended by MDs, EDs, CEOs heading customer service, RBI Ombudsmen and senior central bank officials.
