RBL Bank reported Q4 FY26 net profit of Rs. 230 crore, up 234% YoY. Net Interest Income grew 7% YoY to Rs. 1,671 crore, though Net Interest Margin compressed to 4.41% from 4.89% a year ago. Total business grew 24% YoY to Rs. 253,250 crore, driven by 23% YoY loan growth to Rs. 114,232 crore and 25% deposit growth to Rs. 139,018 crore. Asset quality improved significantly with GNPA declining 115 bps YoY to 1.45% and NNPA at 0.39%. Capital adequacy remains healthy at 14.25% with CET-1 of 12.77%. Cost-to-income ratio improved to 65.1% from 66.4% a year ago.
Strong earnings growth and improving asset quality are positives, but NIM compression may concern investors focused on margin sustainability. Healthy capital ratios and deposit growth support the bank's growth trajectory.
