RDB Infrastructure and Power's board met on August 6, 2025 and approved unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025). Revenue from operations rose sharply to Rs. 6,755.58 lakhs from Rs. 3,070.12 lakhs in the same quarter last year, more than doubling year-on-year. Profit after tax jumped to Rs. 272.25 lakhs (EPS Rs. 0.14) versus Rs. 94.80 lakhs (EPS Rs. 0.05) in Q1 FY25. The revenue jump was partly helped by the slump sale of the Anjana Project for Rs. 60 crore (profit of Rs. 2.49 crore). Separately, Ms. Prachi Todi, a Practicing Company Secretary, was appointed as Secretarial Auditor for five years (FY26 to FY30). The 19th Annual General Meeting is scheduled for September 25, 2025.
Strong top-line and profit growth for shareholders, though the statutory auditor flagged that the Anjana Project transaction should ideally have been booked only as a profit under 'Other Income' rather than as full revenue, which is worth watching. The Secretarial Auditor appointment is a routine governance step and unlikely to move the stock.
