RDB Real Estate Constructions Ltd has been officially awarded a 21.61-acre plot (about 87,463 sq.mt) in Sector-39, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar by the government development authority Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran. The company won the competitive tender by quoting a land premium of Rs 3,330 per sq.mt, slightly above the reserved price of Rs 3,200 per sq.mt, bringing the total land premium to about Rs 29.13 crore. The allotment is on a 30-year leasehold basis, extendable for two more 30-year terms, and the company must deposit the full premium or a 25% first installment (around Rs 4.47 crore) within 90 days. It must also sign the lease agreement within the same 90-day window or face a 2% per annum penalty on the premium.
